Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence is a project of Venture Humanity, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.


Men literally walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes to protest sexualized violence, educate their communities and raise money for chronically underfunded rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence prevention and recovery services.

Wellspring Family Resource & Crisis Centre provides safe, short term accommodation for women in crisis with or without children. First priority is given to women and children fleeing domestic violence. The shelter offers a 24-hour, 365 day a year staffed residential service which includes; a 24 hour toll-free crisis line, supportive counseling and information, referral services to appropriate agencies, preventative initiatives including education and awareness, resource library with visual materials on a variety of topics, Child support programming, Outreach support and follow-up and advocacy supporting women and children.
