Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence is a project of Venture Humanity, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.


Men literally walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes to protest sexualized violence, educate their communities and raise money for chronically underfunded rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence prevention and recovery services.

Alternatives to Violence is committed to intervention in, education about, and prevention of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes through counseling, advocacy, outreach and transitional housing.

Our services are offered to the community by:

•Court Advocates
•Individual and Group Therapy
•Transitional and temporary housing
•Referrals and resource information
•Community education programs
In addition ATV is committed to building and staffing the first safehouse for victims in Larimer County, with plans to begin building in 2014. Walk A Mile funds will be entirely donated to the Larimer County SafeHouse Project.
