Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence is a project of Venture Humanity, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.


Men literally walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes to protest sexualized violence, educate their communities and raise money for chronically underfunded rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence prevention and recovery services.

Kenora Sexual Assault Centre is a women-centre service working from a feminist analysis of violence against women, to effect personal and political change in the lives of women. Our work includes support, counselling and advocacy to facilitate empowerment and healing of those affected by sexual violence. We provide the following services:
24/7 crisis and support line in the 807 area code.
Individual and group counselling to survivors of sexual violence.
Accompaniment and support to the Emergency Department of our local hospital, police and court proceedings.
Outreach and Public Education on issues affecting survivors of sexual violence to thirteen First Nation communities in the Treaty 3 area. Outreach and Public Education within the City of Kenora.
