Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence is a project of Venture Humanity, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.

Men literally walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes to protest sexualized violence, educate their communities and raise money for chronically underfunded rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence prevention and recovery services.

24-hour Crisis Intervention:Trained advocates are available 24-7.

One-on-One Counseling:Counseling may be provided via face-to-face, phone, or other means of electronic communication, if requested.

Personal Advocacy:Advocates are available to meet each individual where they are at the time of their need.

Safety Planning:An advocate will work to help each individual, requesting services, develop a safety plan based on individual needs and experience. 

Safe Shelter:Immediate and short-term shelter may be available, contact an advocate for more information.

Support Groups:Regular facilitated meetings occur, contact an advocate for more information

Community Referrals:Advocates can provide individuals with referrals to community resources.

Public Presentation:Options offers free presentations concerning the issues of domestic, sexual, stalking and interpersonal violence. Knowledge is our best tool to identify and confront the causes of violence in society. Contact Options to schedule a presentation to your local group, church, school or work.
