Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence is a project of Venture Humanity, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.

Men literally walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes to protest sexualized violence, educate their communities and raise money for chronically underfunded rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence prevention and recovery services.

The mission of Laurel House is to provide safe haven for abused women and their children, to raise public awareness about domestic violence and to advocate for social change against domestic violence.Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

This event will raise funds for the operational costs of providing shelter, counseling, legal and medical advocacy, client and community education, children’s programs, housing and transitional support, and violence prevention for victims of abuse and their children both in shelter and those remaining in the community who are living with abuse and violence.
