Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® The International Men’s March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence is a project of Venture Humanity, Inc. a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.


Men literally walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes to protest sexualized violence, educate their communities and raise money for chronically underfunded rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and other sexualized violence prevention and recovery services.

The Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) provides comprehensive services for and resources about sexual violence, primarily through 24-hour services and prevention education. SARC seeks to assure that the physical and emotional needs of anyone affected by sexual violence are met, and that everyone is treated with dignity and respect and is given accurate legal and medical information. Services offered by the center include the following: 24 hour hotline, 24 hour escort (to hospitals, police departments, and court), public education, individual support counseling by appointment, Friends of the Family Program, support groups for adults sexually abused or molested as children, sexually abused teens, and court monitoring.
